Instructions For the Word Template:

  • Open the template file in Microsoft Word.
  • The template contains an outline that matches the shape of your labels. This will denote the area that your design will print.
  • To insert a picture, click on Insert at the top menu bar, then Picture. A window will pop up. Navigate to the place on your computer that the image you want to insert is located, then double click it. The image will be inserted into the template. If you want the border around the text box to be removed, click the text box so that it is highlighted, then click Format on the top menu bar, then click Shape Outline > No Outline. If you want to remove the white background of the text box, click the text box so that it is highlighted, then click Format on the top menu bar, then click Shape Fill > No Fill.
  • When your labels are ready to be printed, click File > Print > then the Print button to print your labels.

Instructions For the Word Template:

  • Open the template file in Microsoft Word.
  • The template contains an outline that matches the shape of your labels. This will denote the area that your design will print.
  • To insert a picture, click on Insert at the top menu bar, then Picture. A window will pop up. Navigate to the place on your computer that the image you want to insert is located, then double click it. The image will be inserted into the template. After the image is inserted, right click the inserted image and click Size and Position. In the window that pops up, click the Text Wrapping tab, and choose the option "In front of text". Doing this will allow you to click and drag or resize the image freely. If the “In Front of Text” option does not appear, choose the “None” option. Repeat this process to insert more images.
  • To insert text, we recommend using the Text Box tool. To insert a text box, click Insert on the top menu bar, then click Text Box, then click Simple Text Box. A box will appear that you can type inside and freely move around the document.
